ACPAT is a Clinical Interest Group of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP) and represents the interests of Chartered Physiotherapists in Animal Therapy. Their members are fully qualified Chartered Physiotherapists (MCSP's) who have also trained in physiotherapy and rehabilitation for animals.


Based near  Brighton, the AchyPaw team is Dr Les Ellam and Chris Penny. They use specialised knowledge and training from both canine and human massage skills and experience to detect and target troublesome areas in your dog. Regular massage for your dog offers a drug free form of pain relief that can help to prevent recurrence of the conditions that caused the pain, keep your pet in top condition, help to maintain their health and comfort and improve their quality of life.

CAM, created by Vet Hannah Capon, is committed to promoting better care of our ageing canine friends. They believe that through education the disease can be better tackled to give our dogs longer, healthier lives free from pain. 

Central German Shepherd Rescue

CGSR or Central German Shepherd Rescue has evolved from a group of people with vast German Shepherd experience. They have a network of dedicated fosterers who look after the dogs needing new homes rather than having  a rescue centre.


Set up and run by Bev Moore, who has worked with some of the best trainers in the country, as well having experience at the Army Vet Corp in Melton Mowbray, training army dogs. Fido hydro fitness and massage therapy are based in Kettering in Northants and provide Canine Hydrotherapy and Massage services. 


IRVAP represents a group of Professionals working in animal therapy and healthcare, committed to promoting best practice for their animal patient and owner client by linking a sound scientific knowledge base to current clinical practice.. 

 Puglia Pooches

Puglia in Southern Italy is a beautiful place, with wonderful food, wonderful weather and the people are generally warm and friendly. Unfortunately many do not respect domestic animals. Puglia Pooches provide food,  medication and veterinary care and try to rehome these poor unfortunate abandoned and stray dogs and cats.


Based in Eastbourne, AbilityHound was set up in 2008 by qualified animal Hydrotherapist, Tracy Hopkins. They are a member of the Canine Hydrotherapy Association (CHA), offering pool-based hydrotherapy to provide rehabilitation for dogs and other small animals in and around East Sussex. We also provide weight loss and fitness swimming sessions.

Purrfect Paws

Purrfect Paws are committed to providing a comprehensive physiotherapy service tailored to the individual requirements of your cat or dog. Wye Valley Canine Hydrotherapy Clinic

Wye Valley Canine Hydrotherapy Clinic is based in Ross-on-Wye and  is part of Chaseview Veterinary Clinic, allowing the use of facilities such as therapeutic laser therapy, clinical massage and a stance analyser.  We are CHA registered (Canine Hydrotherapy Association) and all hydrotherapists have the Level 3 certificate in hydrotherapy for small animals, and 3 out of the 4 therapists are registered Veterinary Nurses. 

The centre offers both water treadmill and pool sessions to aid rehabilitation, weight loss, fitness and water confidence.  Hydrotherapy can help with various orthopaedic and neurological conditions, such as hip dysplasia, elbow dysplasia and intervertebral disc disease.  

West Midland Veterinary Physiotherapy

West Midland Veterinary Physiotherapy is a mobile service providing physiotherapy to small animals across the West Midland region. It offers a comprehensive array of therapeutic modalities including: electrotherapies (light therapy, ultrasound therapy, pulsed electromagnetic therapy, TENS and NMES), manual therapies, remedial exercise prescriptions and home management plans. . Founded by Hayley Bate BSc. BSc. MNAVP. West Midland Veterinary Physiotherapy works on the basis of veterinary referral and is truly passionate about improving the health and lives of animals- whilst earning the trust of both the patient and their owners. 

Whiteley Village Vets

Whiteley Village Vets pride themselves in providing the standard of service that pets would choose for themselves. Their ethos is based around 'pets first' and they strive to treat every patient individually, and as if they were their own. They offer both first opinion and referral services, particularly in cardiology, diagnostic imaging and certain surgeries. This means you can either be seen at Whiteley Village Vets all the time, or they can work with your normal vet when they refer them, with treatment often continued at your local practice.

Burnside Animal Rehabilitation Centre

Burnside Animal Rehabilitation Centre provide veterinary physiotherapy, including hydrotherapy, for dogs, cats and other small animals. Treatments can include hydrotherapy, electrotherapy, manual therapies and land-based exercise. We provide a combined approach to rehabilitation, meaning your pet will receive its own treatment plan in line with its needs and will include a combination of treatments.

German Shepherd Rescue Scotland

German Shepherd Rescue Scotland was established in 2008 to re-home German Shepherd dogs throughout Scotland. They are a registered charity, and rely solely on donations to cover the costs of rescuing dogs, these include kennelling, transportation and expensive veterinary fees. Although they cover the whole of Scotland, they also work closely with other German Shepherd rescue organisations.  Their aim is to ensure that all rescue dogs are re-homed and are safe, secure and well loved (the right dog for the right home).

Fitdog Animal Physiotherapy and Canine Fitness

Fitdog Animal Physiotherapy and Canine Fitness is located in Luxembourg and was set up by Nathalie Janssen, who is an Animal Physiotherapist, Galen Myotherapist and Certified Canine Fitness Trainer. The practise provides full physiotherapy services for dogs and cats, as well as an underwater treadmill. In addition Nathalie also gives canine fitness training, either individual or in seminars/webinars, to dogs ranging from family pets to sporting and working dogs.

RawPhysio is a canine specific veterinary physiotherapy service based in Shropshire. They offer mobile treatments meaning dogs can benefit from physiotherapy within the comfort of their own home. Their services include Laser Therapy, Pulsed Electromagnetic Field Therapy, TENS and Neuromuscular Stimulation and tailored rehabilitation programmes. RawPhysio was founded by Ryan Wharton BSc(Hons) VetPhys MNAVP and is a member of the NAVP.

Stay on Track Vet Physiotherapy was founded by Olga Simlo MSc VetPhys, NAVP, who originally trained and qualified in Ukraine, as a Veterinary Surgeon.  She now specialises in treating patients with orthopaedic disorders, neurological conditions, and osteoarthritis as a Veterinary Physiotherapy practitioner.

House of Hound Hydrotherapy is a registered canine hydrotherapy and wellness centre, based in Yorkshire.  They offer rehabilitation, fitness and wellness programmes for all dogs.  They also have an in house physiotherapy centre which runs alongside their pool and aqua treadmill.  

Alexandra Martin Veterinary Physiotherapy is owned and run by Alex Martin, FdSc, BSc, PgDip Vet Phys, MIRVAP (VP). Tanya Sprunks is a Veterinary Physiotherapist specialising in the management of canine osteoarthritis. She completed a PgDip in Veterinary Physiotherapy five years ago and then went on to achieve a First-Class BSc (Hons) in Veterinary Physiotherapy. She is the only UK distributor of Recovery RX Veterinary (Recovery RX provides advanced long-lasting pain relief for pets, using Electromagnetic Pulse Therapy) and runs several successful clinics across Devon practicing Veterinary Physiotherapy.
